Bequests
A bequest is a gift made in your will. We understand and respect that a will is a personal matter and only your decision. By leaving a bequest to Fronditha Care in your Will, your commitment to older Greek Australians will live on and help us to continue our mission of care to the elderly in need.
Bequests made to Fronditha are used to develop our residential and community care services and provide the highest standards of individual care for older people. We recommend that if you wish to make a bequest to Fronditha, you discuss it with your solicitor.
Through your bequest you will be offering much needed service to our ever-growing frail and aged population.
Types of Bequests
· a percentage of the value of your estate;
· a specified amount of money or property; or
· a residue of the estate after your family, other beneficiaries, debts and expenses have been paid for and other gifts distributed.
Although sample wording for a bequest is given below, it is recommended you seek the advice of a solicitor to ensure your bequest is clearly and legally stated.
Sample wording "I give, devise and bequeath the whole of my Estate (or percentage or residue of Estate as appropriate) to Fronditha Care Inc (ABN 71 424 124 816) of 94 Springs Road Clayton South Vic 3169."
And please, let us know that you've included Fronditha Care in your Will as we would like to have the opportunity to thank you now and show you our appreciation.
Making a will
A will specifies who or what will inherit your property and possessions after you are gone. It is a way that you can provide for family members, friends and the things that are important to you.
A will also provides peace of mind. It is about clearly setting out your intentions for the future so they will be attended to after death.
