To effect our mission Fronditha will pursue the following goals:
Planning & Development
- Plan and develop services close to the community they serve.
- Develop a range of services to meet a diverse range of needs for elders.
- Work in close collaboration with Greek communities to expand service provision to the Greek elderly.
- Raise the public’s awareness and recognition that cultural identity is critical to the well being of all persons.
- Monitor government policy and program development and advocate on behalf of the community of Greek speaking elderly.
- Undertake research and surveys aimed at developing understanding of the needs of and issues confronting Greek speaking elderly.
Quality of Service Provision
- Develop and implement care plans which provide for individual needs and ensure the well being, safety and security of elders.
- Deliver affordable cost effective and high quality services.
- Develop staffs’ competencies in all fields of practice.
- Monitor service provision to ensure continued quality assurance.
- Design, equip and maintain facilities in accordance with best practice standards.
- Encourage family involvement in the planning and delivery of on-going care to elderly persons.
Management
- Develop and maintain quality assurance management systems.
- Ensure that services meet outcome standards as per program guidelines.
- Ensure efficient use of resources.
- Ensure prudent financial planning.
- Develop and implement strategies which continually enhance competencies and skills of all staff.
Community Relations
- Keep Fronditha’s members and the general community informed of the agency’s decisions, activities, operations, financial results and planning.
- Maintain an open approach to the organisation’s operations.
- Encourage involvement by the community in all the programmes, services, and the organisation’s operations.
